Frank Spula refuses to sign the appeal to President Trump

Frank Spula, President of the Polish American Congress (KPA), officially refuses to sign the appeal of 60 Polish American organizations to the US President Donald Trump to veto Act S. 447! Embedded below is the contents of the letter addressed to the presidents and directors of PAC’s state divisions. The letter is signed by John Czop, the head of the Washington, D.C. office of the Polish American Congress (Director of Policy Planning, National Office Polish American Congress). We leave it without comments.

Dear PAC Presidents and National Directors, The POLISH AMERICAN CONGRESS (PAC) is the leader of politically organized Polish America and NOT just another association. The PAC led the struggle against the enactment of the JUST ACT OF 2017 in the House of Representatives (H.R.1226). President Spula is leading the effort to persuade President Trump to veto the JUST ACT of 2017. This is why President Frank Spula will not sign the letter, drafted by Mr. Wojciech Jesman, President of the PAC’S Southern California Division, from the leaders of numerous Polish American organizations to President Trump. President Spula need NOT do so because he already has asked Polish Americans to telephone the White House Comments Line, which records and reports to President Trump’s staff the number of calls in favor of, or in opposition to, a policy question. Please read President Spula’s alert below and telephone the White House Comments Line 202-456-1111. This is more effective than writing a letter to President Trump. Best regards, John Czop
