Radio Poland: Polish president to sign Holocaust bill, but will ask top court for opinion

President Duda said on Tuesday he has decided to sign into law a contested bill which could mean a jail term for anyone who accuses Poland of being complicit in Nazi German crimes during World War II.

But Duda said he would send the law, which has sparked an outcry in Israel, to Poland’s highest court so it can assess whether it is in keeping with the Polish constitution.
